We take environmental responsibility seriously. Every board is crafted from European-sourced wood that meets strict sustainability standards.

Our commitments:

  • 🌳 Sustainable materials: FSC-certified European wood from responsible forestry.

  • 🌍 Local production: All boards are handmade in the EU to reduce transport emissions.

  • ♻️ Eco packaging: No plastic fillers—only recyclable cardboard and paper tape.

  • 🚛 Carbon-neutral shipping: In cooperation with carriers supporting CO₂-offset programs.

  • 🔄 Long product lifespan: Replaceable parts and durable finishes to reduce waste.

We continuously work with our suppliers to keep our environmental footprint as low as possible—from raw materials to delivery.


🛠️ Statutory Warranty & Quality

Our boards are built to last. Every product is carefully inspected before shipment and covered by a two-year statutory warranty (24 months) in accordance with EU law.

This warranty covers defects existing at the time of delivery.

What’s covered:

  • Material or manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery.

  • Structural damage that is not caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.

What’s not covered:

  • Damage caused by improper use, moisture, or storage in unsuitable conditions.

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches or cosmetic wear) that doesn’t affect functionality.

  • Damage resulting from accidents or unauthorized modifications.

How to make a warranty claim:

  1. Email us at info@woodboards.cz with your order number and clear photos showing the issue.

  2. Our team will evaluate the claim, usually within 5 working days.

  3. If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with legal requirements, at no extra cost to you.

Optional Repair Service: Even after the warranty period, we offer a paid repair and refurbishment service to extend the product’s life. Just contact us—we prefer repair over replacement whenever possible.

Shipping

  • Q: Which countries do you deliver to? A: We currently ship to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, using DHL, DPD, and GLS.

  • Q: How long does delivery take? A: Usually 3–5 business days within Germany and Austria, and 5–7 days to Switzerland.

  • Q: Can I track my order? A: Yes—a tracking link will be sent via email once your parcel is dispatched.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

  • Q: Can I return my order? A: Yes. You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery. Please see our dedicated Right of Withdrawal page for detailed instructions and the model form.

  • Q: Who pays for return shipping? A: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. We cover return costs only if the product we sent was incorrect or faulty (defective upon delivery).

  • Q: How long until I get my refund? A: Once we receive the returned item in good condition, the refund is processed within 14 days via the original payment method.

Product Care

  • Q: How should I clean my board? A: Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Never use harsh chemicals or soak the wood in water.

  • Q: Can I use the board outdoors? A: Yes, but store it in a dry, ventilated area—avoid rain or long-term humidity exposure.

  • Q: How do I maintain grip and performance? A: Keep the top surface clean and free from dust. You can occasionally apply natural wax or oil for extra protection.
